Building Community Through Giving

At The Gentle Dentist, we strive to make a positive impact in our community. As Dr. Antolak states, ‘We will continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus.’ Our charitable donations not only support local and global initiatives but also engage our patients in meaningful ways.

Charitable Giving

At The Gentle Dentist, we believe in the power of charitable giving. As Dr. Antolak shares, ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ This principle guides our mission to support those in need. In 2025, we proudly donated over 25% of our profits to ten Christian charities, allowing our patients to vote on which organizations received support. This engagement not only fosters community support but also empowers our patients to make a difference.

God loves a cheerful giver.

Community Support

Our commitment to community support is evident through the various charities we assist. From helping orphans in Haiti to providing aid for victims of sex trafficking in Nepal, our donations have a far-reaching impact. Dr. Antolak emphasizes the importance of patient involvement, stating, ‘Your votes have made a significant impact.’ By participating in our giving survey, patients directly influence which charities receive funding, reinforcing our shared values of compassion and service.

We will continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Introduction

Hi, this is Dr. Robert Antolak from the Gentle Dentist in Shelby Township, Michigan. I wanted to announce what we’re able to accomplish in 2025 and what we’re able to donate. This video is a thank you for being such a loyal patient of ours. Whether you are new to our practice or a long-term supporter of our mission, I want to express my gratitude.

Giving Survey

During the past year, you received a survey after each appointment through our tech services. We call this our giving survey. As a Christian business, we want to honor what the Lord has put on our hearts: to take care of the least of these.

In 2 Corinthians 9:7, it says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” With that in mind, we donated over 25% of our profits to 10 Christian charities. You had the opportunity to vote on which charities received more or less support.

Impact of Your Support

Your votes have made a significant impact. You have supported orphans in Haiti through the program called NEM and through World Vision. You helped children around the world and affected sex trafficking in Nepal through our Daughters International initiative.

In our local community, you provided Christmas gifts and the love of Jesus through Gifts for All God’s Children. You supported the unborn through Michigan Right to Life and assisted homeless expectant mothers in Macomb County through Abigail Ministries.

Additionally, you supported those in need when disaster strikes through Samaritan’s Purse. You backed Christian athletes through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and helped those without medical or dental insurance through Trinity Community Care. You also provided clean water and food internationally through Christian Aid Ministries.

Conclusion

With all that being said, I want to thank you for being our loyal patient. We will continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in 2026. After your dental appointment, when you receive the survey, please fill it out so you can have a positive impact on those less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you, and God bless.
