Shelby Township Dental Office Offers Prayer Requests
Hi, this is Dr. Antolak from thegentledentist.com in Shelby Township Michigan. And what I’d like to do is just really briefly show us that we are a little different type of office than you normally would expect. And, one of the reasons why is we, solicit prayer requests from our patients. We believe that, God is in control, of our lives. And his son Jesus has come here for the each of us. In the power prayer is very powerful and effective, in that we will pray for our patients either if they’re in the chair or they’re having fear. Or their having a life issue that seems to be a problem. Or, if they just want some prayer, we’ll do that. Also, we use these prayer cards and that people fill out on the back for their request, and we will go ahead and keep them and pull them up in prayer before our day begins. We have a huddle meeting in the morning about a half an hour, the first 15 minutes is going over our patient care exactly how we’re going to individualize treatment on each person coming in and what their specific needs are. So we can talk about the situations first. And then the last 15 minutes or so that we spend is praying for our patience and also in reading some words of encouragement that we could all be encouraged because we know that dentistry is a fearful place to be, but I also at the same time, ask Holy Spirit to calm us and also he directs us in what we do with our path.

And so if you really want to be in an office were we playing Christian music. Even if you’re not a believer in Jesus that, that it doesn’t matter. I don’t force it on anybody. Nobody forces. This is always available but it’s just a very pleasant place to come. It’s a place where you’ll find courtesy being given amongst our staff members and courtesy and find treatment amongst other people who come through here.
